Over recent years McGregor McMahon & Associates have had numerous appointments from FMC.  Works have included the formation of a new access, installation of overhead doors, new jib and overhead crane, the development of a greenfield site to accommodate 150 car parking spaces and associated SUDS drainage to comply with Scottish Water and SEPA’s requirements.

More recent commissions included an extension to the workshop with a RC testing tank.  To accommodate the extension, civil works involved diverting the existing drainage and services around the proposed building footprint and installing a new drainage system which met the requirements of SEPA, Scottish Water and Fife Council’s flood officer.

Project Engineer, David Hunt, said that one of the main issues that had to be addressed was the variability of the existing buildings with walls proving to be neither parallel, nor plumb!
